Kitchens
Kitchen renovations, planned and run by the owner.
Cabinets, stone, plumbing, lighting and the installation, fitted to your plan and run by one person.

Cabinets are ordered, so the plan starts with the order.
GDE does not run a cabinet shop. Cabinets are ordered, custom or ready-made, and Young plans the job around the order: what comes out, what is prepared, and when the cabinets arrive. With custom cabinets, a kitchen typically takes about a month and a half to two months, because the cabinets have to be made and delivered. With ready-made cabinets it can take as little as two weeks. Plumbing work is part of that time.

Stone, set properly.
The island top in the first photo is Italian stone. Stone arrives as a slab, and Young lays it on the island frame, with the sink cut-out, before the finishing around it.

Two kitchens.
Cream cabinets with glass-front doors and a dark island. White cabinets with a dark stone-topped island.
Start with a site visit.
Young comes to your home, looks at the job and listens. The visit is free. You leave knowing what the next step is.
